Building on the Past... ...Believing in the Future!
Dearly Beloved in Christ, May the peace and blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. It is with a heart profoundly moved by gratitude that I write to share monumental news regarding our Capital Campaign. Our sacred vision for a new Parish Center has taken a significant leap forward, directed by the grace of God and realized through two extraordinary acts of stewardship and charity. First, The Chouinard Charitable Trust has bestowed a transformative grant of $850,000.00 toward our sacrificial efforts. Additionally, per the directive of the former Bishop of Tucson, the Most Reverend Edward Weisenburger,The Catholic Foundation has contributed$250,000.00 to our cause. These foundational gifts, totaling $1.1 million, provide the essential momentum needed to commence the construction process in the near future. We are deeply humbled by this support, which serves as a testament to the vibrant and enduring future of Saint Christopher Catholic Parish. However, our journey is not yet complete. To break ground and successfully bring Phase One to fruition, we must reach our designated goal of $3,000,000.00. While these generous grants have given us a magnificent start, we still require $1,175,000.00 to fulfill this phase. I am incredibly pleased to report that $975,000.00 of this amount has already been pledged by many of you. For your outstanding fidelity and sacrifice, I offer my most sincere thanks. We now face a final remaining gap of $200,000.00. I turn to you—our faithful community—to help us bridge this distance. As you consider your contribution, I invite you to think of your sacrificial giving as contributing just one hour of your labor each week to God. I ask that you pray during that specific hour, offering your work and its fruits back to the Lord. By sharing that single hour’s worth of your sacrifice, you become the vital support our capital campaign needs to succeed. Whether through a new pledge, a one-time gift, or the fulfillment of an existing commitment, your generosity is the final piece of the puzzle. Let us build this center together as a legacy of faith for generations to come. Thank you for your unwavering spirit, your stewardship, and your continued prayers. Sincerely yours in Christ, Fr.
